Now Offering a Full Range of Exquisitely Dried Herbs

In addition to our current line of herbal offerings, which include certified organic tinctures, formulas, gemmotherapy elixirs and herb tea blends as well as infused oils, salves, body care and Baltic Amber products, we are happy to announce that we are now able to supply you with a full range of premium quality, small batch, organic, dried medicinal herbs.

Our farm is located on a beautiful ridge-top in rural Maine where we grow approximately 3 acres of medicinal herbs. We practice a simple, homespun lifestyle. Our home, farm and herbal processing facility all operate on minimal power. Our work with the herbs is accomplished with a deep respect for the earth and all the intricate connections and multitude of life forms that form the web of life.

We are committed to working very closely with the plants and in doing so we plant, harvest and dry all of our herbs using simple hand-held tools, much as our ancestors have done for millennia.. With the exception of our hammer mill, which beautifully cuts and sifts our dried herbs right before packaging, we use no tractors or machinery.

Our certified organic gardens not only provide us with our food, medicine, material and spiritual sustenance, but act as teaching gardens as well. We offer classes, with community herbalist and Blessed Maine Herb Farm Founder, Gail Faith Edwards. Herbal apprenticeships and herbal medicine correspondence and other courses are available through the Blessed Maine Herb Farm School of Herbal Medicine. You'll find our herbal study opportunities listed on the Study Herbal Medicine page on our main site blessedmaineherbs.com

Our gardens are open to the public, by appointment, during the growing season. We invite you to come for a visit and enjoy their beauty and peacefulness.

WE ARE AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE ADVOCATES FOR LOCAL FOOD, MEDICINE AND GRASS ROOTS ECONOMIC GROWTH WITHIN OUR CENTRAL MAINE COMMUNITY.

We appreciate your continued support, welcome with open wild hearts those of you who may be new to us, and look forward to many more years of growing herbs with great care, attention, intent and love.
